The building which comprises Mokoondi, Chirk Scout & Guide HQ and Lôn y Bugail Hall
is managed by Lôn y Bugail Trust.
The Bunkhouse is a brilliant place to stay, is close to Chirk Castle, Chirk Aqueduct and Viaduct, and Llangollen Canal. It is also situated at the beginning of the eleven-mile walk for the World Heritage Site and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, plus other great walks in the surrounding countryside as well as a perfect base for cycling and canoeing – on both the canal and the River Dee. We can sleep 24 in bunk beds. If required, a few more people can be accommodated in the main hall (camp beds not provided).
The building is also a great place to have a party/celebration – for children or adults – followed by a “sleepover”
